Abstract

In this work we present a control architecture for
the regulation of the orientation (attitude) of a CubeSat
nanosatellite through the Attitude Determination and Control
System (ADCS). With the goal of controlling the orientation of the
satellite autonomously and automatically from its deployment
until the end of its operational life, a control algorithm is
considered based on the Cascade Control architecture according
to the Pressler method and tuned through the Ziegler-Nichols
method. The system is designed for a 1U CubeSat, considering the
international specifications and the state of the art, in order to
serve as a cornertstone for the national mexican satellite
development.
