Research interests

Synthesis and characterization of new nanostructured matertials to build solar fuel generation devices. Synthesis of materials by direct chemical methods and by means of evaporation and condensation of vapors in order to develop ordered arrays of nanowires of diverse materials such as TiO2, BiVO4, Au, perovskites, etc. Naoparticle synthesis by chemical methods of precipitation and reactive mechanical milling. Development of devices cnsisting of nanoparticles and nanowires. Chemical and physical characterization of nanomaterials including X-ray diffraction, scanning and transmission electron microscopy. Evaluation of results
