Research Interests

I am a PhD in Economics with a specialty in Economic Development. I currently work as a Professor - Researcher at the Higher School of Economics of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN). I am part of the National System of Researchers (SNI) Level I, distinction granted by the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACyT). My line of research is economic development, with the main emphasis on informal employment and underemployment. In the public sector I have worked as an economic analyst for the Presidency of the Republic and as Head of Postgraduate Studies and Research Section of the Higher School of Economics of the IPN, in addition to being Coordinator of foreign languages (CELEX) of the same institution. In the private sector I have been a financial and process auditor in the mortgage sector.
